The Bespoke Suit Process
The transition from a cloth to a suit consists of the following steps:

1. Choose your fabric and styles
We have a wide range of the finest cloths in the world to choose from. We will discuss the style of your suit based on your requirements and needs. All you have to remember bespoke means anything you like it to be.
2. Take your measurements
At least 40 measurements are taken in great details taking into account your posture and figuration. We will also take a digital photograph so we can get it exactly right.

4. Baste Stage
Once we have all your details and style preferences, using your measurements our cutter will create a paper pattern made from scratch using the most exacting of standards. The cloth is then cut to your personal paper pattern and then passed on to our tailor who will stitch your suit together but only to the baste stage.

The baste stage is a half made suit temporary stitched together by white threads so that it can be taken apart easily.
This all takes approximately 4-6 weeks, after which your suit will be ready for a baste stage fitting.
The baste stage fitting normally takes around half an hour where our tailor will let you try on the baste suit, armed with a chalk, some pins and a measuring tape adjusts the suit to mould onto your body to ensure a comfortable fit in harmony with your figuration.
5. Tailoring
The baste suit is then taken away, taken apart and remoulded back together from scratch according to the changes in the baste fitting.
Great care is taken to ensure the contour and silhouette lines remain intact and are in harmony with your figuration. We also update your pattern at this stage therefore making re-ordering easy.
Next, this is where the suit is constructed fully and where the intensive hand tailoring begins. A full canvas is constructed entirely by hand using horse hair to make the base foundation of the suit.
To create a soft and graceful roll the lapel and under-collar are hand padded with over 1,000 stitches.
The rest of the suit are then hand-stitched together everything from the sleeves, lining, pockets down to the button holes.
This stage takes approximately 6-8 weeks with over 80 hours of intensive labour.

6. The finished suit
Once the suit is finished you will be notified for a fitting. This is to ensure that it passes our approval and if there are any minor changes necessary to ensure perfection. We will take as many fittings as necessary to get it right.
Other garments
If it is a custom made shirt or a garment replication that you are after then we will take you through the same appropriate steps above so we can get your exact requirements. There are just as many options with shirts as there are for suits so you will be spoilt for choice.
